The MEDUSA Database has been developed at MAICh following the recommendations of a team of Focal Point Coordinators from most of the Mediterranean countries, guided in the first place by a Steering Committee.

Now that work on the database is well under way, the work of the focal point coordinators is being supplemented by other specialists in the various aspects embodied in the database (e.g. specific uses, details of the chemistry and biochemistry etc.).

The MEDUSA Network would welcome contributions from scientists willing to enrich the information in the database with their expert knowledge.
